This texture file is a repaint of Mike Stone's GMAX, Boeing 727-200 in early 1970's Delta Airlines delivery livery. New reflective textures with realistic night lighting and authentic aircraft markings. Also, new wing textures for added detail (cut and paste them into other aircraft if you choose). Smokesystem effect included and rear of fuselage has authentic 727 "dirty" texture. Best viewed at 1024 x 768. Because I don't care for mip-maps, these textures have only one layer and add to the aircraft's detail.

Also, I highly recommend downloading Erick Cantu's awesome 727 soundset (fx7222k2.zip, Flightsim only) and Lonny Payne's beautiful and authentic panel from the AVSIM or Flightsim library (lp727v20.zip). They both add greatly to the realism of the flight-sim experience.

INSTALLATION:

Cut and paste the texture file, "texture.x", into your b727_200 aircraft folder. Path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\aircraft\b727_200. ("x" being the variable assigned to the texture) Then, edit the "Aircraft.cfg" to add this header to the aircraft list:

For the smokesystem, add the effects file "fx_727smoke.fx" to your 2002 effects folder. Path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\effects. Then, add this entry anywhere into your b727_200 "Aircraft.cfg" file:
